From the wonderful Prowse family farm at the very end of Devon comes an amazing stash of coloured Romney raw fleece. The sheep kept on the farm are award winning and go down a storm at our local wool fairs. From cream to pale beige and dove grey to steel grey, rich brown and black its perfect fleece for marl or more random yarns. It produces even richer colours when overdyed. It also felts like a dream and is great for beginners. Chris, our resident spinner says "its easy to use, even in the grease and is great for all sizes of yarns from lace weight through to super chunky."
