We'll call it White Welsh Mountain as its colour is closer to white than black - the more commonly known Black Welsh Mountain Sheep. In reality it is a mix of cream, grey and beige and lighter browns.
Whilst it looks dirty it is a wonderfully soft fleece with a good staple and crimp that takes dye well meaning you dont have to leave it its natural colour of 'dirt' if you dont want to. It spins wonderfully well across all yarn thicknesses and is a good transition fleece for beginners moving on to more complex fibres.
Its useful for wet felting but not the easiest and can be used well for needle felting projects or nuno.
