A really good beginners fleece for spinning, black with brown tips and the older the sheep the more likelihood of some interesting strands of grey.
Zwartbles have crimp and bounce and pull apart easily to seperate the fibres. They felt incredibly well (be careful when washing) and can be used for a wide variety of projects from soft yarn to the black pop in a bolt of tweed.
